Hi, I’m Yuta. I grew up and live in Yokohama, a port city near Tokyo. I once lived in Kichijoji, located in the western part of Tokyo. I love walking around a street and taking pictures. On my article I introduce attractions mainly of Tokyo with many wonderful pictures. Please enjoy them!

After I left Hanazono Inari shrine I bought Pandayaki at a stall.
Pandayaki is a bean jam pancake molded into a panda shape.
A panda has become a symbol of Ueno because there are pandas in the Ueno zoo and they are very popular.
The sweets looked humorous and tasted good.

After that I left Ueno park and strolled around Ameyoko (short for Ameya yokocho) which is shopping street famous for its cheap goods such as foods, clothes and general goods.
I didn't buy anything special but it was very fun to walk around such s lively shopping street.

Finally I went to an izakaya (Japanese tavern) which served delicious oden (a Japanese food of stewed ingredients).

There are various izakaya in Ueno

The atmosphere of the izakaya was good

Oden; an egg, a konjak, a chikuwa (a tubular roll of boiled fish paste) and a Japanese radish

Octopus sashimi (slices of raw octopus)

I came to like this izakaya because the atmosphere was very nice and the foods tasted very good.
Alcohol was also nice, especially Japanese sake.

This day I visited various places in Ueno.
The day was very fun day.
