Shishimai Valley is located along Tenen Hiking Course, which connects Kenchoji Temple in KitaKamakura with Zuisenji Temple and Kamakuragu Shrine in the northern east of Kamakura station.

The valley is one of the most wonderful scenic spot for autumn leaves in Kamakura.
There are lots of trees turning red or yellow.
Such a dense growth of trees with colored leaves have seldom been found in Kamakura.
It is not too much to say that this is the world of autumn leaves.
